Easy and convenient airport and Preveza offered a very relaxed atmosphere in the old town area.
Many good restaurants including some like Saitan Palazar with live Greek music on certain evenings.
Taverna Mythos was delightfully friendly and good value for money.
Dioni Boutique Hotel was excellent and in an enviable position.
Easy access by 6 euro taxi to the Ktel bus station for 7 euro bus to Parga or 1 euro 60c easy bus back to airport.
We shall certainly use this gateway to Greece again.

Small town whose biggest attraction is a modest shopping street. Worth coming to only as a lay-over/relay if you're further picking-up your boat to sail off from its large marina or if you're travelling to neighboring areas.

We ADORED Preveza!
We ADORED Preveza! One of our favourite places we have ever been. It felt totally authentic, non-touristy, there was such a buzz everywhere & everything we ate was incredible. Everyone was so friendly, & we felt super safe everywhere we went. Relaxing & exciting in equal measure.. & we saw sea turtles!

Small town which is not packed with tourists luckily.
Small town which is not packed with tourists luckily. The beaches are amazing -Alonaki is my favourit-, the architecture is amazing, the food is extremel delicious in every single restaurant (Opaka was our favourit)! The people are generally kind and try their best to help when needed. The food prices are low. Perfect place to roam around on a bike, there are no real distances, perfect for photoshoots and to enjoy your summer to the fullest.

Beautiful waterfront filled with sailboats and cafes.
Beautiful waterfront filled with sailboats and cafes. The town has a nice vibe. Several good tavernas. It is a pretty place with nice beaches nearby (by car). The archaeological museum and the nearby site of Nikopolis are highly recommended.
The apartment was perfect for us for the start of our holiday in Greece. Dora was very welcomong and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed being in the town close to shops and tavernas and only 10 - 15 min walk to the local beaches. From the balconies you could look down the friendly alleyway of tavernas and see the sea by the town quay. We've had a great holiday and when we come back we will definitely look at flying into Preveza and staying at Oikia.
Fotini and her husband are wonderful, generous, down to earth people who welcomed us themselves on arrival. Nikopolis is a picturesque village just outside of Preveza. The house has an amazing view and is truly very clean with very comfy beds which is rare in Greece. There is a yard your children can play in. You have access to wonderful beaches and the town of Preveza which is like visiting an island. Fotini is truly an exceptional host!
The apartment is really close to the center of Preveza and it has everything that you may need - cooking staff, cleaning staff, even sewing, first aid kit, coffee and many more. There is personal parking place. The place is relatively quite.
When I arrived I was welcome by the host Mr. Dimitris who was very friendly. There were several beers, juices, water bottles and fruits in the apartment for welcome.
Best hotel by far we had in our long trip in greece.
We find ourself back again and stay longer days each time!

And above all best stuff friendly and helpfull
1. The villa looks great. New, nice design. Lots of plants. Two swimming pools.
2. Location in a village with very nice restaurants .
3. Parking lot in the courtyard
4. The apartment interior with design focus on the details
5. Every day cleaning
6. Closed by beaches (few kms). Not crowded in Jul. Well organized.
7. The owners who did a great job with the premise
We were absolutely thrilled with our stay there. If you travel without a car it has an ideal location - between the Kiani Akti beach and downtown. The rooms are clean and tidy, the daily cleaning is awesome. And the owner is super friendly and ready to help whenever you need it.
We traveled with 2 kids 4 and 7 you and will be back with great pleasure
The view from the balcony and and whole apartment was amazing. The host Athina and her whole family were really lovely and helpful with everything we needed. The beach is your backyard and the area is really quiet while being 15-20 minutes walking distance from restaurants and bars in Preveza central.
Fully equipment very clean apartment and with a large pool, in a location in the country side, a few 100 meters to the beach ,very suitible for couples or families.
Great staff - the family so nice and helpful best service we could get.
Great pool bar with great coffe drinks and some simple dishes.
Meraviglia Slow living is a dream experience from the moment you enter that door to the moment you notice that even the tote bag they offer you is an incredibly classy touch. Romantic, relaxing, exciting. Next time in Greece, we would definitely start again from this incredible place.
My friend and I loved this hotel! The host was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Our flight left after check out time and she still let us use our room and even drove us to the airport! We highly recommend this place for everyone!
Wonderful hotel, right on the seafront with fantastic views over the bay. Friendly and very helpful staff, incredible housekeeping (room was spotless!). Restaurants and bars right on your doorstep, easy walk to the beach - and best of all, fantastic value!
Extra care for cleanliness and covid measures. Location was very convenient to move into town and go to the airport the next day. Friends suggested we should stay in Lefkada instead, but cannot personally confirm if it would have been more convenient.
My family liked everything. Spacios cosy airconditioned flat equipped with literally everything family can need, balconies, washing machine and dish washer, amenities, home made liqueur, ... Memi is wonderful host.
Location 4 mins from airport , handy as flight was delayed. Perfect for our stay before moving on. 300 metres from a lovely bar on beach.Owner Vicky was so helpful .
The host was very helpful. He suggested a beach, a museum and a seafood restaurant which were all very good. The apartment was very clean and well located.
