    1. I am interested in a rental list of properties to see what price and availability, I am in Texas and saw the Villages on internet where are you and are you close to water? Thanks

      1. Greetings to Texas!

You can find rental vacation homes
and many hotels, all kind, all class, all budget at the best guaranteed prices!

I am based in Athens. Almost every city or town in Greece is close to a beach. Distances here are not the subject, comparing with the US. If you rent a car you can combine Mountain and Sea easily with no restrictions.

If you want to stay near the sea then again the options are unlimited. Just let me know if you want family vacations, if you are a couple or an individual who is seeking for fun and partying!

        Waiting your reply

  1. Enjoyed the video on “What it means to be Greek!!! I was drawn in by the passion displayed by my fellow Greek born brothers & sisters though I was born in the States to a Greek father, visiting Greece once and while there felt very much at home….What a beautiful picturesque place, beautiful people & tasty foods! Great experience! Well done video!!!

    1. Hi Marie!

Thank you for the wonderful comment! No matter how far you are or how many times you have visited Greece the feeling is the same. It’s in our DNA and nothing can change that. You can always identify someone who is even a “little Greek” even if that person never visited Greece before. I saw that during my visit in the US when I visited my beloved family.

The Greek civilization is one of the very few civilizations in the world that are considered “Ancient” and also one of the very few that has survived, despite the difficulties, wars and distressful moments in history.

People who visit Greece can feel and see the difference when they spend a few days in this small but wonderful country. I get this feedback from all these happy people who choose Greece as their destination.

This year, although the financial crisis is in every home and family who lives here, the thing that every outgoing tourist has to say is that “it’s amazing how you deal with the crisis and how friendly, polite and willing to serve us you are all, no matter how your personal financial condition is or what is going on within your families or around you. It’s amazing how you find your way to get through difficulties and move on!” Well, the answer is simple … History has taught us how to do so and God has offered us, with great generosity, the best tools to do so … A wonderful and productive land were we can produce anything we want, a great climate, a renovating sun, crystal clear waters and the … knowledge to combine all these things together.

Thanks again for the astonishing comment and for sharing your thoughts and feelings!

  2. Realize I fit in the Greek culture of the underlining Philotimo! If only the whole world could embrace Philotimo!

    1. Hi Marie!

I wish that too! Philotimo (Φιλότιμο) ιs a simple word with a deep and so honorable meaning that every civilization should possess in it’s vocabulary and most important to accept the meaning and use it in everyday life!
